Advika Sharma is an experienced delegate with a near-perfect record across conferences, she brings strong chairing experience from GEARMUN 3.0 and past editions of OWISMUN. Her deepening interest in her intended major, International Relations, has taken her to the United Nations in New York City and to several international conferences.

Hi! I’m Ruth, your Vice-Chair for SOCHUM. I’ve spent the past three years at conferences like TISBMUN, NEEVMUN, AMUN, GEARMUN, and YaleMUN, learning the ropes and picking up a bunch of experience along the way. Politics and international relations have always caught my interest, and I’m always curious to dig deeper. Outside of academics, you can usually find me cooking (or at least trying to), trekking, or (on most weekends) watching Formula 1. I’m really looking forward to seeing you all in action and hearing some interesting debate.

Hi, I’m Mahati, the vice-chair of SOCHUM. I’ve been doing MUNs for the past 3-4 years, attending many conferences such as NEEVMUN, TISBMUN, GEARMUN (etc), with a handful of placements. I’ve developed a large interest in all things international relations, so MUN hopping is truly my thing. Aside from MUNs, I love all forms of singing and dancing, and have been learning since the age of 7! I am looking forward to seeing some intense debate, dramatic speeches, and questionable foreign policies that will make our committee enjoyable. I can’t wait to see how amazing our conference and debates will pan out to be!
